Salzburg, Austria

HELLO!

Today’s post – Salzburg, Austria – consists of a Classical musician’s birthplace, multiple filming places from The Sound Of Music, and some of the most beautiful streets and monuments you have ever seen.

Salzburg was just a day trip for us from Munich, Germany, so we weren’t there for more than a couple hours. But, I felt that a this was a suitable amount of time to do everything we planned, which covered the most important parts of the city.

The first thing we did was go to Mozart’s birthplace and house. I’m a pianist and have played some of his amazing pieces, so it was an amazing experience for me to see where he lived for so long. Of course, this museum is amazing for non musicians as well!

Next, we walked around the city a bit, had some ice cream (of course), and did some shopping for souvenirs! It wasn’t very crowded here, certain places (like the Mozart house) were more crowded than others, but it wasn’t unbearable. Also, it was super hot; very different from the other rainy cities we were in during this trip *cough. cough. Brussels.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Salzburg! This city is so beautiful I couldn’t stop taking pictures šŸ˜€

When I try to get an aesthetic picture of the street, all I get is literally – the street.

Of course, we couldn’t go to Salzburg and not find the Sound of Music locations! There was actually a specific tour for this, but we decided to find them on our own, since the tour lasted all day and we didn’t have enough time.

Most of them are in this video, see if you can spot them in my pictures! (And, yes, we reenacted all of the songs and dances.)

I really hope you enjoyed this post! Sorry there were so many pictures, I got a bit crazy with my camera and held it in my hand wherever I went (not a good idea).

Anyways, I loved this city and would honestly love to go back any day. It was so peaceful and magnificent, no wonder they filmed Sound of Music here!

Don’t forget to like, comment, or follow my blog and I’ll see you in my next post! šŸ˜€ ā¤
